Family Grace: Happy Independence Day!

Hi. My name is Shawnelle. I've been married to Lonny for quite a few years and together we raise a bevy of boys. Our sons are Logan, Grant, Samuel, Gabriel, and Isaiah. I home teach our youngest three.

Life is rich, wild, and sweet and it's my best blessing to seek God in the small moments. I'm learning about His faithfulness and His Presence - in the joys as well as in the struggles. Sweet, amazing grace.

When all is quiet, I'm a freelance writer. I've contributed regularly to Guideposts magazine and Chicken Soup for the Soul books. I've also contributed to Angels on Earth, MomSense, Marriage Partnership, PLUS, Thriving Family, Cup of Comfort books and other anthologies. I'm a 2015 and 2016 contributor to Daily Guideposts and I blogged for Guideposts.org for two years.

My favorite Scripture is John 1:16. From the fullness of His grace, we all receive one blessing after another.

It's my heart's desire to live and breathe in the precious peace of this fullness...
