Hello Friend,
Lonny, the three younger boys and I recently took a trip to Florida. Oh, I wish you could have seen their smiles when the boys saw the palm trees!
Something about it reminded me of how we're called to support one another as believers in Christ. You can read about it here:

Thank you for sharing this time with me...
Wishing you love, peace, and joy.

Faith and New Beginnings
Hello Friend,
It's time for new beginnings. It's spring. The season of graduations. Weddings. We don't have to look far to see new opportunity and new life.
My son Grant graduated from high school last week - and I began to think...
There's no new beginning more precious than our new beginning in Christ.

Sending love your way on this day.
I'm so grateful for you.
Lovingly,

A Listening Place
Hello Friend,
Have you ever been in a place of needing to hear from the Lord? Maybe there's a tough circumstance. A decision. Or a part of your spirit that just needs to be filled.
I've been there recently, and I've been thinking about listening for the Lord.
Though God is God and He can speak anywhere and whenever He chooses, I'm wondering if it's possible to put myself in a listening position?

Traces of God's Love
Hello Friend,
The other day I found them: toy soldiers. Bright blue. Plastic. Perched on the thin leaves of my houseplant.
I love it.
Boys live here.
Did you know, that as believers, we can leave a similar kind of trace?
You can read about it here:

Leaving traces of His love - what a precious thing!

The One Who Never Grows Weary
Hello Friend,
It's May. Some activities are ending. Others are beginning. The result? We're running like wild.
It's the way we live.
I know you can relate.
In today's post, I share of how a busy day reminded me of the strength of the Lord. You can read about it here:

A Mother's Grace
Hello Friend,
The other day I needed something to quiet me. Something to calm my worries. I knew what I needed - the sound of Mom's voice.
There's nothing like a mother's way...
In today's post, I share of a time when Mom came through for me - when she offered grace when there should have been something else.

Choosing Rest
Hello Friend,
When I found my son, he was asleep.
Something about this peace pulled me - do you ever long for rest?

May Day Baskets and Sweet, Easy Love
Hello Friend,
I remember childhood May Day deliveries. Mom, my sisters, and I would make baskets, bake treats, pick violets, and load up our wagon. I'm so thankful that Mom shared this tradition with us - a stretch-back from her own Mama and her own childhood.
My boys and I still make and deliver May Day baskets.
Here's why:

We're wishing you a beautiful spring day. May it be filled with God's love.
